It's coming!! January 1 marks the beginning of qualifying for the all new US Equestrian Open of Dressage! 🎠 🐴 🎪

The first leg of qualifying opportunities will be the 🏜️ Desert International Horse Park's Desert Dressage CDI-W/CDI3* on January 2nd. Qualifying runs nationwide throughout 2025 and will culminate with the 🏁 US Equestrian Open Dressage Final 🇺🇸 right back here in December 2025.

DevonWood is excited to announce to our that our Ginny Rattner Memorial Dressage CDI3* will serve as one of the Official Qualifying competitions. 🤩

Local Sherwood/Newberg folks: please help Sherwood Police Department locate the owner of this precious pup. 🐶

UPDATE: Owner has been located! Thank you everyone!

We need your help finding the owner! This puppers was hit by a car near SW Pacific Highway / SW Cipole Rd around 2:13pm. She doesn’t have a collar or a microchip and was transported to an Emergency Clinic by one of our officers.

This weekend, DevonWood was honored to host the Region 6 USDF FEI Youth Clinic *and* United States Dressage Federation Youth Outreach Clinics - which included 24 youth horse/rider combinations.

This was the largest USDF Youth Clinic nationwide with the most USDF Youth Clinic participants all together at the same venue - in the 🇺🇸 country!

The list of thank yous are innumerable…but…

We couldn’t do any of this without the support of The Dressage Foundation, USDF, and USA Dressage.

Our PHENOMENAL team of clinicians including Sabine Schut-Kery, Benjamin Pfabe, and Jesse Collins. Nicki Grandia put in countless hours of committee work to ensure a smooth event. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort has done an incredible job pivoting from horse show hub to ‘help hub’. Housing First Responders in their brand new hotel and cabins, allowing FEMA to convert many of their facilities into safe havens for humans and animals, and serving as a distribution hub for emergency relief.

Further down the coast, we see venues like World Equestrian Center - Ocala and TerraNova Equestrian Center stepping up similarly for incoming Hurricane Milton, offering hurricane housing for thousands of horses (and other animals) seeking refuge.

We applaud these venues and their leadership for doing the right thing when disaster strikes and encourage others, when able, to follow suit. 🎪🐴💕
