Happy Happy New Year from Saucy 🐖 Pig. We wish you all the Absolute Best in 2025!! I have a Smoked Ham cooking in a Black Eyed Pea Bath, Cabbage and Greens Cooking in Bacon, and Sarah’s getting the Cornbread going. We will see y’all tomorrow for some of the Best BBQ and Burgers you’ll eat in 2025!!

This morning was one I did not want to ever happen. I received a call that there was a lot more smoke coming from the BBQ Pit than usual, and that 911 had been called. I’d only been gone about an hour. Early this morning I had put a lot of meat on and moved some things around in the smoker. As soon as I saw the amount of Smoke I knew there was a fire in the Pit. The electric fan had malfunctioned and was blowing air on the fire and didn’t shut off like it’s supposed to. So, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to the Amazing Sherwood Fire Department and Sherwood PD (both Awesome Customers) for coming to put the fire out, and Columbian Fusion Food Truck for letting me know what was going on. With all this being said…. Bear with me the cleaning process will take a few days. So, get ready for us to be Open back up on the 28th!!!

I’ve had a lot of people ask about Christmas Eve. We will be here till about 1’ish for customers to pick up their catering orders. So, if you want Saucy Pig to make your Christmas a lot easier, just let me know and I’ll fix you up…..

I hope everyone has a Wonderful Thanksgiving!! Enjoy time with family and friends. I am Thankful for each and every one of you for allowing me to do what I love for a living. I can’t wait for all of you to get back to the Saucy Pig next week. We will be closed the rest of this week and weekend to spend time with our family.
