We interrupt our regularly scheduled food posts with a shoutout to Natty Oaks , our server Will, and their basement bar that is the perfect bourbon bunker replete with a LEG LAMP!
First and foremost, we dined and imbibed in the traditional Natty at a high top table and devoured their wings. Best idea we’ve had in a long time. The buffalo sauce is delicious with the most perfect heat. The Natalie’s Secret Dry Rub was the bomb.com. All meaty and delicious, fried to perfection, and coated perfectly whether they’re sauced or rubber. Like y’all, we’re going back. On repeat. For the wings alone.
The Guinness was perfectly poured and as always, cold and refreshing.
The nachos? GET OUT OF HERE. These chips are homemade and the crispiest, best crunchy babies we’ve ever eaten. The layers of flavor and heat can’t be beat. Pro Tip: Extra fresh jalapeños is always a win.
And our server Will? On 💯 He was absolutely fantastic. In every way. Engaging, witty, helpful, attentive, and we aren’t going to lie, he’s real cute too.
And last but not least, this perfectly crafted Old Fashioned from their basement whiskey bar was the most delicious night cap to a lovely evening among best friends, wrapped up in the arms of great ambiance, after a lovely meal.
We love you Natty Oaks ! We can’t wait get back. 💛
