Senior Band/Auxiliary Member Week (c/o ‘25):
“MS. ARIANNA DAWSON”

Arianna is a member of the Golden Lionettes Majorettes in BTW Band. Arianna is also a member of the National Honor Society. Arianna is currently taking dual enrollment classes to get an early start on her college studies. Arianna plans to attend Georgia Stat University and major in Neuroscience to become a Neuropsychologist.

“MS. SHAKAYLA CATO”

Shakayla Cato is a 3-Year Clarinet player in BTW Band. Shakayla is also a member of the Btw Cosmetology program, and Girls Club. Shakayla wants to go to college to major in nursing to become a pediatric CNA. Shakayla also wants to attend beauty school to become a nail tech.

“Ms. Sumayah Lewis”

Sumayah is a 1st Year Tenor Drum player in BTW Band. Sumayah is also a member of the Varsity basketball Team, Girls Club, and Barbering Program at Booker T. Washington. Sumayah plans to attend Louisiana State University and major in Criminology where she is studying to become a Forensic Science Technician. She also plans to go to barbering school to receive her certificate in barbering.

Laylah is a member of the . Laylah is also a member of the 318 club, Girls club, BTW Steppers and an Upward Bound Ambassador at SULSA. Laylah plans to attend college after she graduates to major in Ultrasonography.

“MS. REAGHAN BORSMAN”

Reaghan is a 3-Year Clarinet player in BTW Band. Reaghan attends the Career Center (Collision Repair) and is a Private First Class in the National Guard. Reaghan plans on attending the Academy of Interactive Entertainment in Lafayette for Game Design and Animation and to also carry out the full 8 year term for National Guard.

“MS. JANIYA HOPKINS”

Janiya is a 3-Year Clarinet player in BTW Band. She is one of the top 5 ranked students in the Senior class. Janiya is also a member of the National Honor Society, JROTC(Battalion Executive Officer ), 318 club, and an Upward Bound Ambassador. Janiya is currently taking dual enrollment classes to get an early start on her college studies. Janiya was selected to be a part of the 2023-24 Caddo Parish Honor Band. Janiya plans to attend the University of Louisiana in Lafayette and major in nursing to become a travel nurse.

Davina is a 2-Year Clarinet player in BTW Band. Davina is also a member of the National Honor Society, JROTC(Lieutenant Colonel), Girls Club, and Career Center (certified patient care tech). Davina plans to attend McNeese State University and major in Sonography to become an Ultrasound Tech.

Jermesia is a 4-Year member of . Jermesia is also the Battalion Commander for BTW JROTC and a member of 318 club. Jermesia plans to attend college after she graduates and major in Psychology.

“MR. DAVID ADGER III”

David is a 4-Year Trombone player in BTW Band and currently ranked #1 in the Senior class. David is also a member of the National Honor Society, Boys 2 Men Club, STEM club, Intellectuals Club, Student Ambassadors, Track Team, and Early College Program. David received an Associate’s Degree from SUSLA during his Junior year in High School. David recently auditioned for the LMEA District VIII Symphonic Band and qualified for the 2nd round of auditions. David plans to attend college after High School and Major in Biomedical Engineering.

Carlos is a 3-Year French Horn player in BTW Band. Carlos was selected to be a part of the Caddo Parish Honor Band during the 2023-24 school year. Carlos recently won 1st place in the Cultural Art Contest. Carlos plans to go to college after he graduates and major in Music Education.
