Marlo Kyng

Became more serious about rapping in high school & formed a group called G. C (Goodfella Crew). He began performing at various venues throughout the city and made his biggest splash at Words Over Latte's. The streets loved Marlo Kyng and the GFC so it was no surprise when their mixtape release party for "The Feast" (2011) was standing room only! A few months after The Feast...Marlo made grown man

moves and left Shreveport for Virginia as he had learned that he would soon be a father. After a brief stint there, the young Kyng relocated back to Shreveport and found himself in a truly precarious predicaments being homeless and jobless having to sleep in his car and work odd jobs to survive. However, after surviving the lowest of the lows, the young Kyng stands tall and ready to take hip hop back to its roots with heartfelt storytelling, knife edge sharp lyricism.
