It is with great sorrow that we share that Ms. Linda Cox, the mother and mother-in-law of store owners, Cindy and Bill Smith, passed away on January 14th, just over a week short of her 82nd birthday. Affectionately known as 'MeMe' by the Smith family and our staff, she spent the last ten years helping out at the holidays by answering the phones and helping customers place their orders. She quickly became part of the HoneyBaked family, but also won over our customers with her infectious smile and empathetic heart.

As a dedicated educator in Caddo Parish for nearly 40 years, 'Ms. Cox' was often reunited with former colleagues and students in our store, each met with her trademark smile. Her love for her family, friends, community, and our customers touched so many lives, and her legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire us.

The front corner of our store will forever be known as 'MeMe's corner,' a space filled with her spirit and memory. She will be deeply missed.
