Shullsburg Music Department The Shullsburg Music Department strives to achieve high quality performances each and every year and loves having so much support from the community!!!!

The Shullsburg Music Department consists of three main areas: Band, Choir, and General Music. There are two directors, Mrs. Melissa Griffin and Ms. Alyssa Smith, in the district who are continually working together to have a positive program.

It's been a busy couple of weeks in the music department! Thank you Jan Barth Hendrickson for the pictures of the pep band at the Girls Sectional Game in Richland Center.

Next up, Cabaret! Thank you to everyone who helped/donated to the event in any form. There are way to many people to list individually, but the music department is grateful for you all!

12 of our High School Band members had a fantastic time at the Six Rivers Conference Honors Band under the direction of Larry Albrecht. Many laughs were shared, and many friends were made in between the beautiful music making. Shoutout to these students for signing up for an activity on a no school day!

Students were asked to help with taking pictures of the BSMS Pep Band last Friday.

Lesson learned, if you're going to ask high schoolers to take photos, you will get a couple of great photos. However, the rest will either be extremely blurry or in .5 🤷‍♀️
