Today marks one of the saddest and most horrific days in modern American history when 2 977 people lost their lives at the hands of Radical Islamic Terrorists and countless more people have died as a result of this tragic day in the 23 years since! May we NEVER forget!
..but for me and my family, this day also marks another date that we will never forget...

On this day, in 2015, 9 years ago, we arrived in this Great Country to start our lives anew, with all of the Promise and Opportunity it offers to those who are willing to work hard and pursue their dreams... We were scared, but hopeful. We were sad about all we left behind, but excited about what lay ahead.

Today we are American Citizens and I can truly say that the American Dream is REAL, ALIVE and POSSIBLE for all who are brave enough to dream it, but more importantly, those who work at it every day, abiding my the laws, playing by the rules and embracing this Great Country as their home - "One Nation, under God...", with ONE Anthem and ONE Flag!

Today we honor all of the BRAVE men and women who came before us and gave their lives so we can live ours. We remain eternally grateful! Sx

There's a whole lot of mowin', blowin', washing' and scrubbing going on at Rivers & Bridges! Getting our pretty on to welcome all of you here this Saturday for Celebrate America Day!

Bring the Kiddos! We have games galore just for them and the Silk Hope Volunteer Fire Department is bringing a Fire Truck just for them!

Lunch & Beverages will be available from a variety of Food Trucks, Jordan Pickett is going to sing for us and I get to sing the Anthem again! ...which is going to be extra special - and probably a bit emotional - as it will be the first time I get to sing The Star Spangled Banner as a Citizen of this AMAZING Country!

We start at 12 Noon and admission is FREE!

Can't wait to see all the beautiful people of our Community in Red, White and Blue! Sx

Our Spring Wedding Season is done and dusted! ... and now it's time for my absolute FAVORITE event on our Calendar every 2 years!

It is "Celebrate America Day" next weekend here at Rivers & Bridges! ...a day of Family-fun, Food and Music for all who LOVE this Country and want to Celebrate with us!

This will be our 3rd time hosting this event... which started with a "small" Celebration in our home with 107 people in 2020 and grew into a Beautiful Celebration at our venue in 2022!

I can't WAIT to see all of the Patriots of Chatham County here next week! We will be decking the halls in Red, White and Blue! ...just for you! Sx

Dear Lord,

Today we give thanks for all we have and had
For memories of days gone by, both happy and sad
For all that makes us whole – for hurdles and for goals
For brothers, sisters, children, Mom and Dad.

We gather from the bounty You provide
With those we love tucked safely by our side
We pray that You protect us – keep us safe and Bless us
While by Your sacred teaching, we abide.

And that You Bless them too Lord, so we pray
