From Pike County down to Washington for the BBQ and Blues festival, we had ourselves a weekend .
Unfortunately , the BBQ and Blues festival was lacking in the BBQ category. We were hoping to try some local BBQ , but that was not the case.
But they had beer , so we made it work .

This is an actual text I got this weekend.

So when I tell you that we fill up , most of them are scheduled six months, to a year in advance . Especially in the busy months.
We just booked parties for October and December this week.
By July, at the latest , you should be thinking about your party in December if
you are planning on using us. These spots go extremely quick and there's only so many weekends in December.
We are obviously limited on the amount of events we can do based on our company size, but we are working towards changing that. 🤞🏼

We're not here tooting our own horn, we just don't want people being disappointed because we are already booked and they have to use someone else that is nowhere near as fun and delicious as us.

This week we go wild with catered events. Weddings , grand openings and a party , Oh My!
This warmer weather makes cooking outdoors so much better. However , it does look like we may have to contend with rain and wind this week. 👎🏼
Nothing we can't work through.

If you haven't tried our Missouri Twinkies ( pictured below coming fresh out of the smoker ) you are missing out.! They are an absolute hit amongst men , women and children alike! Add some to your next catering order. I promise you won't be disappointed.

On Sunday we had a wedding fair at the The Lodge at Boulder Lake. We served chicken street tacos , since they were such a hit last year. But we switched it up and also added Missouri Twinkies which seemed to be the hit this year!

My favorite part was that every single food vendor was in all black head to toe serving food. Meanwhile , this was our food server!

Don't be scared to stand out in a crowd. It's the little things that set you apart from the rest.

Join me in wishing my " behind the scenes queen" a happy 20th wedding anniversary.
We make one hell of a team, Hussey!
I do everything, and she cheers me on!

Just kidding. She just doesn't like to be customer facing if she doesn't have to be.
So that leaves me and my beauty to be the face of the business, while she hides In the shadows doing dishes and cleaning up. If it ain't broke , don't fix it!
