Over the weekend we catered our largest event yet. A wedding for 250 guests. We had to bring in some hired help for this one.

5 days of preparation and planning for 40 minutes of chaotic food service ! That math , ain't mathin... 🤓

Lucky for us , it was at our favorite venue , The Lodge at Boulder Lake. The owners are just as amazing as the venue. So this made the service easier to get through.

People always ask us if we can cook for that many people , and my answer is always yes , the cooking part is easy . It's the service that gets complicated.

We even served up a custom plated dinner for the bride. A cheese quesadilla!!! But it was made with all the love !

Congrats to Maddi and Keegan! May there be many more cheese quesadillas in your future!

Over the weekend we catered a celebration of life for a family we have known since high school.
We could not have asked for better weather rolling into July! It was a great event to raise a little money for the family and I'm so glad we could be a part of it.

Barbacoa tacos for the grad party, always a hit! Even if people don't peel them apart and load them up and eat them correctly .😁

It's weird catering a grad party for friends you've known since middle school , who now have kids of their own graduating high school . But it was great to see them and we even got to hang out for a while.

We just passed our 1️⃣ year anniversary as a company ( last week) and we didn't even celebrate. We didnt even remember to be honest.
I can t believe what we have done this first year . The support from everyone has been overwhelming!
We have grown and learned so much as a business this year.
We have big plans for the future , so saddle
up and hold on tight , it's going to be a wild ride!
A huge thank you to all of the people that trusted us to fulfill their food needs in our first year.

Pictured is a new twist to our surf and turf option and possibly one of the best meals we have cooked up to date .
Reverse seared ribeye with chimichurri sauce , shrimp and a skillet fried , garden fresh squash and zucchini medley.

This will also be one of our dinner options for our live fire cooking events coming next year. 🔥

We love America and our military , like a fat kid loves cake.
So today we say thank you , to all the men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice for us to live free in the greatest country in the world .

This is a rib meat taco. Shredded cheese , pico de gallo, spicy bbq sauce and la crema on a flour tortilla.

But no , you like beef and cheese tacos , because you think ketchup is spicy.

Happy Teacher Appreciation week.!

We catered a taco bar for the teachers and staff at Boone Elementary yesterday!

As an excellent student myself😳 , let me be the first to apologize to all my teachers that had to deal with me on a daily basis from 3rd grade on. I don't know how you did it . But I thank you!

When I say it's a family business, I mean it!
My normal help had school and work , so I had my daughter tag in . Her and I are back at it again today for Silex schools.

Friday we catered a lunch at the new Wright City high school for all the tradesmen building the school and some members of the school district . It was great time and a miserable day all in one. It was raining most of the day and windy. The heavy rain held off until we had to clean up, so we were soaked by the time we were done.

One thing about fellas in the trades, they aren't scared to fill a plate. So we made sure to cook accordingly and even managed to walk away with a bit left over !

This weekend was full of birthdays, barbacoa and beautiful weather.
Oh, and first communions.

We catered a birthday taco bar on Saturday. Then had two first communion lunches on Sunday . One went with taco bar and barbacoa tacos ( a personal favorite of mine) and the other went with a fried chicken meal.

There is nothing like a full fried chicken spread for lunch on a 85° Sunday after church!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to cater a luncheon for the East Central Board of Realtors at one of the most amazing venues, The Lodge at Boulder Lake. Not only is the venue over the top , but the owners are just Grade A good people!

We served our standard taco bar with a few upgrades , that as always, were the first things to be devoured.
Believe me when I say , the specialty items make the meal! Even if it's something as simple as adding shrimp. 🦐

Thanks to Sheyana for thinking about us , ECBR for using us and special thanks to Ed and Tammie for the top notch hospitality! We look forward to many more events together!

Our third and final event of the weekend .

Events like this wouldn't be possible without my crew/family. My son who is still in school and my wife who also works a full time job , are always there to give up their weekend to help make this business successful! I can't thank them enough for their help!

We had to make 175 boxed meals for 2 separate dinners for one of our many repeat customers , Bridge Church .

They went with the always delicious , smash burgers and cheesy potatoes .

We fought the wind all day . Lightweight foam containers and wind don't go together. But we made it work .

Big thanks to Bridge Church for having us out again.

Now, on to the next one!

Also, No, I don't have any merch for sale yet! I promise , I'll get it out there as soon as I do.

We had a jam packed Super Bowl weekend.

We started with a surprise 40th birthday party on Friday night for 75 people at the new Highland Event Center & Bar. Prepped all of our Super Bowl orders on Saturday , then cooked all day Sunday for Super Bowl orders.

Thank you to everyone that ordered for the Super Bowl , you absolutely maxed us out with orders !!!

Total numbers were 72 lbs of burnt ends , 57 lbs of wings , 52 lbs of pork butt and 5 orders of smoked queso!

And we got the cap the weekend off at a great Super Bowl party with friends !

Now it's time to rest!

We have been slammed this December . Lucky for us , we had absolutely perfect December weather on Friday to serve up a taco bar to the hard working folks at Grasser Electric. We got stuck in traffic from an accident , so it was run and gun from the second we got there. We still got it all served in time, with 3 minutes to spare. 😳 This is about the only photo/video we got from the day .
