The City of Silsbee is excited to announce the reopening of the Farmers Market.

The Frank K. Rudisaile Pavilion in Downtown Silsbee will be available each Saturday, from 8am-4pm, during the months of June, July and August to local farmers and artisans.

There is no charge to set up however you must secure a permit at City Hall prior to the event each Saturday. You may schedule multiple Saturdays when you register.

All products sold must be locally grown, produced, homemade or handcrafted by the vendor.

Permit Location: Silsbee City Hall, 1220 Hwy 327 E, Silsbee. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Attention Silsbee & surrounding areas:

The splash pad will be closed MONDAY, JUNE 5TH, to pour concrete for additional shade structures around the parameter of the pad.

There will be two 12x12 structures and one 24x24 structure. Covers will be added soon after concrete work is completed. Additional picnic tables will be added as well.

Thank you for your patience as the city continues to enhance this great addition to the community.

Grant for downtown small business owners...

Main Street America and American Express are pleased to announce that applications for the Backing Small Businesses Grant are now open! The grant program will award 350 small business grants of $5,000 to eligible businesses in the U.S. and territories.

In 2021, American Express and Main Street America created the Backing Small Businesses grant program to help economically vulnerable U.S. small business owners recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and grow their businesses.

Now in its second year, the program has increased both grants awarded and total funding to $2.3 million to further support small business owners in building their economic vitality and fostering a thriving community.

New this year are Enhancement Grants for grantees: If you are awarded a $5,000 grant through this program, your business may also be eligible to be considered for an additional $25,000 Enhancement Grant!
