Happy Pfeffernusse Day! No, it’s not what a sneeze sounds like. It’s a Christmas cookie! I make butter cookies, crispy coconut cookies, chocolate cream cheese truffles, English toffee and candied pecans. And a huge stomach ache from taste testing it all. 😂

This is from Williams Sonoma and it has been a family favorite for years. It is a great twist on Gingerbread cookies.

During World War II, the United States Playing Card Company joined forces with American and British intelligence agencies to create a very special deck of cards. They distributed them as Christmas gifts to soldiers, but they also helped Allied prisoners of war escape from German POW camps. Happy Chocolate Covered Anything Day! I LOVE chocolate, but I don’t think I’ll ever dare to eat bugs of any kind, even coated in massive amounts of chocolate. Bugs or not, any chocolate or candy maker is more than welcome as a vendor when the new season begins in May! I’m pretty sure I’ll be the biggest customer. 😬

We have a great group of vendors with lots of hand made arts and crafts. The best kind of gifts! There’s live music, great food and beverages onsite - something for everyone!
