One week ago…

Styled shoots are such a creative outlet for me; for lots of wedding vendors. It’s a chance to be creative without the pressure of it being the biggest day in someone else’s life. It’s a chance to try new techniques and source out new ideas.

In all honesty, it’s an experiment. I tried out a new design on the bridal bouquet for this shoot. I stretch my limits in sourcing stained glass windows. We battled physics and that Great Plains wind. We all had to make last minute adjustments, even on location as we pulled up to where we first thought we’d setup. Looking back at the GORGEOUS sneak peaks Sydney sent over, I already know what I would’ve done differently, now that I’m not immersed in the moment. It’s not that I think anything was ruined, but I can see where I missed a few good opportunities in the haste. Younger Grace would maybe beat herself up about it but now I know I can just take the lesson and file it away for next time. It’s still magic at the end of the day!

Regardless, this shoot turned out stunning in so many ways and our models were amazing!! There will be more to come and more to share— I couldn’t have done it without the help of my friends!

2025 Baby Bump + Flowers 🤍 the last photo was taken only 11 days before little man arrived — I only wish I would’ve taken more

Last year was the most rewarding, and most physically challenging, year I’ve had yet. But my clients, my brides, they were all so wonderful and kind and they kept me going. I had some real standout ladies and beautiful wedding days that I know I’ll never forget from this past year.

I’m so giddy about all the plans for the 2026 season as I ease back into this business owner life, now with a new title of mom. 2026 is full of COLOR and I couldn’t be more excited for the palettes we are working up 🤍 stay tuned!

Went out to The Black Hills for this Halloween weekend wedding close to a month ago already 🖤 Taylor had moody and rich florals in mind and I absolutely love how the reds and burgundies play so well with the emerald green dresses.

Thank you to for capturing and sharing these gorgeous pictures!

Also a big thank you to my hubby for climbing the ladder and listening to my pregnant self bark instructions at him from the ground to install the florals on the arbor. He’s gotten multiple crash courses in floral design this year given the circumstances and he’s a natural, no doubt!

Friendly reminder that wedding vendors are in the thick of the 2025 season right now— I want to thank those that are waiting for a 2026 proposal from me right now for the patience. I curate each proposal to fit the needs and styles of the clients and it all takes time. (I don’t carbon copy recipes in order to make it unique for each wedding couple.) I haven’t forgotten about anyone! I just run out of hours in the day sometimes but I could never justify trading the custom work I do for the cookie cutter alternative, ever.

Working as a one woman show most of the time has its challenges and I appreciate the extra layer of understanding in this busy time of year 🤍 I’m so thankful for all my clients!

A sweet little Saturday baby shower set-up… for us 🤍

Surprise— Baby Nicolaus due in December! As we near the end of the wedding season, I wanted to make this announcement. To those that already knew, thank you for your support and patience this year!

Although next year will look quite different than years past, my books are still open for May through December 2026 events. More details on my maternity leave are yet to come but soaking up this sweet time of life now.
