This is probably the most difficult post have had to write in quite some time.

They say all good things must come to an end and well Open Space was definitely a good thing.

Our lease ended on Dec 31 and for the past six months we have been trying to renegotiate with the building owner to stay. Unfortunately his cooperation wasn’t on our side.

Open Space will officially close on Jan 31. This has been an emotional roller coaster for me. I have met so many great people and been part of so many special moments.

Time flies. It was three years ago today that I opened Open Space. I’m so grateful for every event and every person I have met through this amazing business. It’s had some ups and downs but I still believe every single thing that takes place in this building is something good. Weddings, Celebration of Lives, baby showers, bridal showers, graduations, church services, etc. Every event was a special moment for someone. I’m so blessed to be part of that. Open Space is just a building. It’s the people that celebrate in it that have made it a successful business.

Wow I find myself crying as I type this up. I’m beyond grateful and blessed by so many.

From the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone who has touched my life through Open Space. I hope I somehow touched you through it also!
