Before I was able to enjoy the long holiday weekend with my beautiful family, I had a chance to cook for this wonderful family! A friend called me up and said would I be willing to cook for their immediate family Thanksgiving, and I told Loghin Welch, ABSOLUTELY!!! What a beautiful kitchen I was able to work in and enjoy what I love to do. I am thankful for the call, Loghin! Thank you!

What a fabulous Friendsgiving with this group of people!! Been at it for 10 or so years and decided to take it easy this year! Papa’s on the call! Thank you Stephanie for such a wonderful time with so many laughs!
I also greatly appreciate you putting on the USC/UCLA football 🏈 game in the kitchen for me 😉.

Rebecca and I always believe everything happens for a reason in this universe. Papa’s Private Dinners was able to prove our theory once again! Cathy and Steve hosted a dinner on Wednesday evening with some of their closest friends. My father, Daniel, coached all of their children at one point or another. I coached Cathy and Steve’s son at one point as well.
The other couple I must mention are Connie and Brad. These wonderful people invited my father and our family to stay with them for 4 months when we moved to South Dakota, way back when!!! A family they had never met! They will always have a special place in the Ohayon family heart ❤️. Thank you Brad and Connie. Forever grateful.
One of the guests at this party also just returned from a trip to Morocco! The place of Papa’s birth! And the last thing that made this so, so special was that today is the anniversary of Papa’s passing. I was meant to be with these wonderful people that night to celebrate friendship, love and laughter. Some beautiful tears of remembering an amazing human who left a long-lasting legacy were shed as well.
I was meant to be there. Papa wanted me to be there. He reminds us daily that he is ALWAYS with us 💕💕. Merci, Papa.

Thank you Cindy Bak Wills for a wonderful evening! I found some time between high school soccer games and kids events to do what I love! Prepare food for and cook for great people who like to have a fun experience. For them and me!!! Even had a connection to Papa’s Pub!

Bella cashed in her auction winning dinner for the Sioux Empire Realtors for Kids annual auction and fundraiser! We were trying to make it a birthday surprise for Gunnar, but we weren’t slick enough 🫣😏!! Happy Birthday, Gunnar! It was a very fun evening and can’t wait to cook for you guys again!
Side note…. A few of these wonderful young people went to school with my nephew and niece!!

I learned a ton, laughed a ton, and realized what kind of things are important in life 💕!!

Had the pleasure cooking for TWO birthday dinners this past weekend! Steve set up a nice dinner party for Lindsay… Lots of laughs were had! Thank You!
The next one was a surprise 40th for Jesse set up by his awesome wife, Katie! It was an excellent surprise and it was wonderful reminiscing with Jesse and his father about our soccer lives together! Until next time 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I was lucky enough this past Friday night to do a birthday dinner for the grandfather of a very close friend; in a home of one of the young ladies I coached for many years (thanks Kathy and Katie). Jackson Rentschler and the family welcomed me with open arms!! The Papa’s favorites were served ☺️☺️.
