We like to boast about the great views from Shepherdsfield but one of my favorites is only seen by a few. The bridal party suite peeks over the ceremony lawn and fountain garden providing the perfect view to spy the groom and guests as they gather.

All that can be seen now is snow but come spring the world will gain color again.

A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition.

We frequently get asked what will happen if the rain comes on your wedding day. We are absolutely understanding that being a great fear. In the event of bad weather the house is open for all the guests to come get warm and watch the clouds quickly pass. In our experience Central Oregon is an extremely safe location for your outdoor wedding. Thank you Visit Bend Oregon for compiling the following helpful information!

Bend has the highest average number of sunny days in the state. Clear days average 158 days per year with an additional 105 days that are mostly sunny. Many of the remaining days provide substantial sunshine. Days that are totally cloudy do not often occur.

The average annual precipitation in Bend is less than 12 inches, over half falls between November and February, often as snow. Brief thunderstorms usually provide most of the light summer rain.
