What a dream this entire day was 🌾

My brother married his dream girl in a small, intimate ceremony on our family land. They danced their first dance in the yard, next to the farmhouse they are currently restoring together. It was such a touching and special day. From the dinner plates we ate off of, to the quilts we sat on. Every detail was thought out and planned.

But is it even a Williams wedding if the cows don't escape during the ceremony?

Every once in a while, a session comes along that makes me cry happpppppy tears. My sweet friend, Haven, and I met several years ago during one of my mini sessions. We have been friends ever since and I have cheered her along from the sidelines, while she fell in love and created a family.

Travis reached out a few weeks ago, explaining that he would be proposing to Haven and wanted me there as a surprise, to record the special moment. I was HONORED. And so eternally happy for her. She is so deserving of his love! And he of hers.

I was surprised any photos were in focus because of my shaking hands, but their love is so apparent. In every photo. So happy for you, friends!!!

The first time I took photos of Destiny was TEN YEARS AGO. She was the sweetest, most expressive girl and I was a novice photographer at only 21 years old.

We recently took her senior photos and I couldn’t believe how beautiful she has grown up to become! And that it had been a decade since the second photo was taken. 🥴

Including a photo from 2014 to show the growth that I’m super proud of! 🫶

My baby brother found himself the sweetest little lady and they are getting married this summer! They have been busy renovating a farmhouse and will get married on our family land in June. So beyond happy and proud of them!! 🌾

I've been terrible at posting but I've kicked off spring sessions with one of my most adorable little clients!

As most of you know, photography is my weekend job. I work full time and have an ornery three year old little boy who accompanies me on sessions sometimes. My life stays busy but I thoroughly enjoy using photography as a creative outlet, all while providing beautiful photos for my clients.

My editing turn around may a little longer than most, I typically respond to emails/messages while lying in bed at the end of the day, and go months without posting sometimes. But I've built the best clientele in the last 14 years of doing this. I love meeting and obtaining new clients and building friendships along the way.

I've been working on finishing my editing for this year. If you're waiting on your session, they will be delivered this weekend or early next week. What an amazing year it has been!

For those that do not know me, photography is my "weekend hobby". My love for photography started nearly 14 years ago and has blossomed into a passion for creating images my clients will cherish for years and years to come. I work full time and am a mama to a perfect little three year old boy named Crew. We bought our first house this year and lost an incredibly meaningful person in my family. Even after all of this, I managed to photograph over 60 sessions.

To my clients, your patience this year has meant the world to me. My editing turn around time has been a bit longer than normal because of all of these things, but to those that trust me to capture their families year after year and continue to be patient and understanding with me, THANK YOU.

So many galleries are going out this week as busy season is finally coming to an end. My clients have been so patient during this time considering not only the loss in my family, but also during the home buying process. This season has been incredibly busy for me and having clients who understand this, means the world to me.

This was my thirteenth year doing photography. I'm fortunate to find so much joy in this hobby career of mine and have met many wonderful people who I now consider friends, not just clients.

I lost one of the most important people in my life this week.

While looking through photos this weekend, I am reminded why photography is such a passion for me. I'm forever grateful for every photo and memories those photos remind me of.

To my current and upcoming clients, your patience means so much to me. My response time has been slow and I'm behind on editing but I will get back on track this week 🫶

The little sibling kisses. The baby toes and fingers. Every string of drool and every spit up. The tired eyes and elated hearts. Full of love for what was and what has become with your new little one.

These are so much more than just newborn sessions to me. There are many parts that encompass your journey with a newborn. I love capturing that. The dirty diapers pushed out of the way for these photos. The tears in between shots. The heart felt talks with my dear friend, Jade. The typical aches of taking photos of a three year old. These are real and raw.

When I look at these, I see love. A chapter in life, not an easy one by far, but an essential one. A new paragraph written with each shot I take. These sessions are easily the most meaningful to me.

Jade, thank you for letting me follow you on your journey of life. To all my mamas who allow me to capture such intimate moments in their lives, you're the reason I do what I do.

When Sam sent me the inspiration for her maternity session, I took it and ran with it. Florals. All the summer vibes. Film-esque.

I love when my clients allow me to run with their vision. We happened upon this field of flowers and it was the perfect place to capture exactly what she wanted with her photos.
