Due to expected weather conditions from Hurricane Rafael this weekend, the Veterans Day Concert with the Northshore Community Orchestra has been relocated to the Slidell Municipal Auditorium at 2056 Second Street. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Concert begins at 5 p.m. Admission is free.

The Slidell Heritage Festival is Slidell's oldest Independence Celebration. Our event is conducted every year jointly by the Rotary Club of Slidell and the Rotary Club of Slidell Northshore to benefit local charities. This year our charities receiving fund are Notes for Education, Bayou Lacombe Cardinals, Truth in Nature, The Boy Scouts, and the Slidell Police Association. Please come out, have fun and support these local charities.
