Calling all those who care about Lighthouse Christian Fellowship and/or the Slidell community! Join us for a workday today (9/16) 9AM-4PM at the church. We are starting a Basic Needs Ministry that will provide showers, laundry facilities, and a basic needs pantry on Friday evenings. Help us get the facilities ready today!! If you're not able to join us, please pray for this important ministry. Donations of non-perishable foods, laundry detergent, hygiene supplies, and towels will always be gratefully accepted. Are you looking for something to do this weekend? If so, our church community will be holding a "Family Fun Day" at the home of one of our parishioners. We will be watching a Slidell boat parade, having a corn hole tournament, water balloon fight, and watermelon seed spitting contest. This Saturday starting at 10:30 am. Just want to let you know that the Mana church offers simultaneos translation in English to the visitors that do not understand Spanish. So don't let a language barrier stop you from joining us on Wednesdays at 7PM or Sunday afternoon at 2PM. Just keep in mind this service is provided by talented members of the church and not professional translators.
