From our very inception our mission was crystal clear. We create an environment for aspiring musicians to learn to excel at their instrument of choice in a fun performance based environment. Our students don’t simply learn how to play an instrument. They learn music theory, technique, improvisational skills…. and most importantly they learn what it takes to be a musician.

Check out the Musicology Performance Center bands at St James Day!! They will be performing in the parking lot of Sivana Salon. A great event filled with amazing food and retail vendors as well as music entertainment!!

Join the Musicology Performance Center for three amazing events. The first event will be at the St James Fair. on Sunday, October 6th.The concert will be held in the parking lot of Sivana Salon (292 Lake Ave, St James NY 11780) . This event will be packed with food and retail vendors as well as great music. Hope to see you there.

The second event will be our annual Halloween Party held at the VFW in Kings Park. 1pm to 5pm
The Musicology performance groups will play a mixture of Halloween music as well as a sneak preview of some of their songs in their upcoming show. There will be food, drinks, candy, games and cash prizes for the best individual costume and group costumes. A great family event

Also, Save the date for our Musicology Winter concert held at 89 north in Patchogue. We will have some amazing performances from our Kid rock, 90's show, Rock through the Decades show and many more. A family friendly event for all.

The Musicology Performance Center is proud to announce our song writing workshop hosted by Menghi from Metal Allegiance. The workshop will be held on Monday 10/2 @ 6:30pm to 8pm. Mark will cover a wide variety of music genres as well as lyric development, arrangement and overall tips and tricks on demo recording. A great workshop for any skill level and style of music!

Mark Menghi is both the guy onstage and the man behind not one but two rock n’ roll supergroups. An industry veteran, with over two decades of experience as a musician, visual artist, and marketing/creative director, the Long Island bassist and father of two is a lifelong disciple of the four-string history made by Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler, Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris, Motown “Funk Brother” legend James Jamerson and the late, great Cliff Burton. MUSICOLOGY SUMMER CAMPS!!!! -STRANGER THINGS PERFORMANCE CAMP - Musicology Performance Center is proud to present our Stranger Things performance camp. This camp is designed for experienced musicians, for rising 8th through 12th graders Over the course of one week, your aspiring musician will make new friends while learning epic songs from our Stranger Things set list. On the last day, Campers will also play a short show for friends and family. It is a great way to try out Musicology!! Camp Dates: July 17th through July 21st / 10am to 3pm GRADES: 8TH THROUGH 12TH Camp Costs: $499 ------------------------------------------------------------- -SONGWRITING/RECORDING CAMP- TWO WEEK This summer give your aspiring young musician an opportunity of a lifetime. Musicology Performance Center and Vudu Studios present the “Song Writing / Recording Experience Summer Camp”. Join us for a two-week songwriting and studio production summer experience featuring professional songwriters in a world-class Vudu recording studio. The first week will be held at The Musicology Performance Center and will focus on writing, arranging and pre-production of original songs. Campers will collaborate to write songs focusing on music, lyrics, melodies, harmonies, and arrangement. Under the guidance of our talented instructors, our campers will learn about what it takes to express their emotions and ideas through song, how to arrange the material and bring it to life. Campers get to bring their musical ideas and get real time feedback from professionals. Please note: On August 9th we will also be treating the campers to a trip to Dave & Busters! Our second week will be held at Vudu Studios. MUSICOLOGY SUMMER CAMPS !! This summer let your child immerse themselves in music. Musicology summer camps offer our campers the opportunity to learn to write, record songs and perform live on stage. Performance Camp : Music of The Movies July 11-15 @10am-3PM - Ages 7yrs to 12yrs and 13yr to 17yr - This summer we are bringing your favorite movie soundtrack to the stage. Over the course of the week campers will learn to perform some of the most fun songs from the movies you love... from the Shrek soundtrack to Beatles Help and everything in between this summer is all about making those great musical movie memories come to life. The camp will end with a mini concert at a local venue. It's a great way to get your child on stage in less than a week!!
