Marguerite Beane is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and vocal coach currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. She spent the last 8 years in Nashville, TN where she obtained a BA in Vocal Performance from Belmont University and played at various venues such as Rudy’s Jazz Room and her favorite tiny art gallery on the west side called Random Sample. She feels that one of the greatest gifts that music has given her is community- among other musicians, listeners, mentors, and students- and it is through this art and community that she attempts to understand the world around her. Informed by jazz, folk, bossa and rock music, Marguerite has learned to always improvise when telling a good story, speak boldly, and take no sh*t.

At a time when most people feel constantly distracted by technology and barraged by the news, authenticity and straightforward honesty are paramount, and there’s something about the music of 🎶 The Po' Ramblin' Boys that cuts right through the noise of the world and speaks plainly to the soul. Formed over a decade ago in the Smoky Mountains, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys are at once exactly what you would expect and not at all what you would expect from a tattooed East Tennessee Bluegrass outfit. 🎻 But they take pride in being ambassadors of their genre, and the group has brought their music from rural blue grass festival stages to the rock clubs of Europe, with stunning results, and they're headed to The Flatwoods stage with 🪕 East Nash Grass on Thursday, February 20!

East Nash Grass is one of the hottest young bands in Bluegrass, picking up this year’s 🪕 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award for Best New Artist and stacked with IBMA Best Instrumentalist winners: 🎻 Grand Master Fiddle champion, Smithville Fiddlers' Jamboree and Crafts Festival champion, and AMA Instrumentalist of the year nominee Maddie Denton, Cory Walker (banjo), and Harry Clark (mandolin).
