I want to start off this post by thanking everyone who has ever had me make them a costume over the last 12 years. I posted a few weeks ago that I will be taking on the role of caregiver for my granddaughter when my daughter returns to work in August. Over the last 6 years while my husband was living in Florida it was easy for me to sew 15 hours or more a day. This past year he was working from home and graciously gave up time with me to allow me to work on the costumes that I had committed to, that number ended up at 150. There is not enough hours in the day for me to be the Mimi I want to be and complete that many costumes. I hope I am giving those I am not able to make costumes for enough time to find alternative solutions. I wish all of you great luck at your nationals and hope you have a wonderful summer.

Senior Spotlight on I’ve made several costumes for this sweet girl over the course of her dancing career. I’ve knew her as a shy little girl and watched her grow into the stunning young woman she is today. She’s headed to the university of Tennessee to study engineering so not only is she talented and beautiful she’s extremely intelligent. She also has to wonderful parents who I adore.
