Hi there! I’m Cherish, founder & owner of Divine Inspirations.

Divine Inspirations is a family-owned business with a passion for weddings and special events. I started designing and coordinating weddings in 2010 when a good friend needed help with her wedding. I had already been planning and designing other events such as birthday parties, mother/daughter teas, Christmas parties, and large women’s Christmas teas to name a few. I had a small team that helped me and together we planned and designed the next few weddings. Even my younger children help where needed and love being part of the team.

You will often see my teenage daughter and/or son assisting on wedding days. When not planning weddings, you can find me spending time with my husband, (who is a retired US Marine) and family riding mountain bikes, helping coach teens mountain bike racing team, or babysitting my grandchildren with a cup of coffee in hand. I am a lover of Jesus and help in ministry in my church alongside my husband. I love all things pink, pretty, and sparkly and love the opportunity to help brides make their day beautiful.

We are growing once more (yay!) and looking to expand our team! We are looking for a very special person to join our planning family in Eastern, NC as a lead coordinator for 10-15 events per year! This position would be part-time (10-12 hours per week) for 4 months with the option of becoming full-time within 4-6 months. In our search for the perfect person, we are looking for someone that: will go above and beyond for our clients and the company, will work weekends, likes snacks, is accountable, likes to laugh, is the perfect mix of personable and professional, is organized, can be a mind reader ;), and is cool under pressure! All Assistant positions are part-time/as-needed (floral assistants would be needed the week before a wedding) and must be willing to work weekends and sign up for at least 5 weddings. Must be hard working and fun! detailed, and a team player!
