Hi!👋🏼 I’m Amy Boyle. I’m married to Mike and we have 3 boys. We are a sports family and love attending sporting events whether it be our own, a professional game, a local high school or friend’s game. In my spare time I love the outdoors, being in my garden or taking care of house plants, hiking and serving at our church. I love exercising and cooking up a homemade meal for our family =)

It’s our BIRTHDAY!!! 🍾

I am truly amazed and so blessed to have been in business now for two years and looking ahead to a full and incredible 3rd year ahead of me!

I’m a sucker for a perfectly arranged bird’s eye view of all the little details! The colors, the textures, the precision! The beauty captured with an array of small, and yet powerful, items really does reveal the importance of the details.

Over the years, you might forget what shoes you wore, what your invite looked like, or the perfume you chose, but a beautifully crafted flat lay photo will record it all in immaculate style.

Here’s 2️⃣ tips to set your photographer up for flat lay success!

1 • Create a Details Box for your photographer ahead of time with items like your save the date or invite, rings and ring boxes, perfume bottles, vow books, garter, shoes, a few flowers, other jewelry, and any important little things you want included!
2 • Be sure to include time within your photo timeline for your photographer to artistically arrange and capture these flat lay photos! Don’t rush their artistry; give them space and time to create! 🤍

The Youngs are in the process of acquiring ownership and operations of ! The lovely Julanne Turner began Delightful Decor over six years ago and has built it into a wonderfully curated specialty rental company serving Snohomish County and beyond! Eric and I are thrilled to be continuing on the legacy of beautiful rentals and excellent customer service!

Delightful Decor will be operated as a separate entity from and open to serve the party and wedding rental needs of northwest Washington.

The First Look is truly a wonderful moment! Many brides have imagined it their whole life and want that moment captured for the memory books! If you’re planning a pre-ceremony first look moment, swipe through to gather some important tips and facts about first looks!

If you’re not that bride and you’ve been holding onto the dream of your groom seeing you for the first time as you walk down the aisle, swipe to the very end and stand your ground! A staged first look moment is not a must!

The Marriage License! 🖋️📜
Amidst planning the party, don’t forget the legalities of getting married! Here are a few tips to help you ensure that that oh so important piece of paper doesn’t get overlooked or incorrectly handled!

Tip #1 - DON’T MISS THE APPLICATION WINDOW!!! Set an alarm on your phone and book a calendar event for 2-3 weeks prior to your wedding date to apply for and receive your license! (You can’t get it any sooner than 60 days before your date and no later than 3 days before.)

Tip #2 - FILL IT OUT AHEAD OF TIME! There’s a lot to fill out about yourself, parents, etc. and no one wants to think about all that on their wedding day. The only things that you should leave blank are the signatures and the section for the officiant. *Don’t forget to flip it over! Your SSNs go on the backside and 9/10 many people forget it!

Tip #3 - BRING IT ALL!! Wondering what forms in the packet to bring on the big day? Don’t stress, just bring the whole packet and let your officiant and wedding planner guide you through it! We’ve got you!

Tip #4 - ASSIGN A MAILER! Don’t let that document float around in the bridal suite and hope it makes it home. Hand it directly off to your officiant, your planner, or a trusted friend/family member who can drop it in the mail for you immediately following the wedding.

Tip #5 - If your officiant is new to the wedding world and hasn’t officiated before, make sure that your planner is in the room to help guide you all through the signing process. It’ll relieve stress for everyone and ensure your legal documents are filled out properly.

The Water Goblet 💦

As you plan your tablescape, there’s so much to consider! Linens, colors, florals, centerpieces, accents, plates, utensils, napkin fold, printed materials, es**rt cards, tables numbers, & more!

BUT… amidst all those items, don’t forget the water goblet!! Whether or not you’ve hired a full service caterer who provides water service, I still advise adding water goblets to your rental order and here’s why:

1️⃣The aestheric! There is no denying that a little crystal or colored glass goes a long way to make your table look robust in texture, dimension, and it helps catch the light!

2️⃣It truly makes the table feel finished, complete, and ready for your guest to dine.

3️⃣Even if the guest must take their glass to the beverage bar to get their hydration, it is still a classy step up to avoid the plastics.

4️⃣Every guest loves a formal goblet!
