READ YOUR CONTRACT!

Reading your venue contract carefully is crucial because it outlines the terms, costs, and responsibilities of both parties and most of the time your vendors. Here’s why couples should pay close attention:
1. Hidden Fees – Some venues charge extra for services like cleanup, overtime, security, or vendor coordination. Knowing these costs upfront prevents surprises.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policies – Life happens. Understanding refund policies and cancellation terms can help avoid losing large deposits if plans change.
3. Restrictions & Rules – Some venues have rules on noise levels, alcohol service, decorations, and even vendor requirements. Not following them could lead to fines or losing your deposit.
4. Weather Contingency Plans – For outdoor weddings, the contract should specify a backup plan in case of bad weather.

Imagine a wedding set totally sucluded with privacy, surrounded by towering trees, with a endless view of the Cascade Mountains as your backdrop. A grass pathway that leads guests to your ceremony with a epic views to an open glade creating an intimate, inclusive atmosphere. Soft music, perhaps a harp or a violin, floats through the air, blending with the sounds of nature.

At the center, the altar or arch is crafted with love and wildflowers, beautifully blending into the surroundings. Imagine vows exchanged under blue sky’s, surrounded by the beauty of the PNW.

After the ceremony, guests enjoy happy hour and cocktails with the sunset reflecting off the mountains from the outdoor bar—a 40’X80’ white tent with draped white chiffon from the ceiling and gorgeous floral arrangements on every table, giving the feeling of being inside and outside all at once. The 36” round white lanterns hang overhead for warm lighting with white string lights outlining the tent, and the tables are dressed with elegance, lush greenery, and soft textures, creating a warm, inviting space.
