Well, hello again! It’s been a while…
Hi everyone, it’s Joanna here! It’s been way too long since I last popped on here properly, and with so many new faces following along, I figured it was about time for a little reintroduction. Social media definitely took a backseat these past few months. But I’m back—at least for now, haha! I’ve missed connecting with you all, so I’m looking forward to catching up, hearing what you’ve been up to, and of course, sharing lots of pretty pictures again.

Here’s a few random things about me in case you are interested:
🌱 I’ve always got some new project in the works. Among many things currently I am trying my hand at tapping maple trees for syrup, starting a mini mushroom farm on logs in my forest and getting back to the roots of photography with some cyanotype printing - never a dull moment around here!
🍵 I’m a huge tea drinker—there’s always a mug nearby, whether I’m editing photos or just taking a moment to unwind.
🎨 I recently really got into ceramics, and I’m loving making a mess with mud! It’s been such a great way to escape the world and get creative in a whole new way.
🌍 I’ve been living in the States for about 15 years and running my photography business for 13! But every year, I like to go back to Europe—it’s my favorite way to recharge and get inspired.

Just got back from our annual photographers’ party (with a quick stop at the obligatory for some post-beer munchies) and can’t help but reflect on the incredible photography community we have here in the Seattle area. It’s such a gift to be surrounded by an amazing crew—people to bounce ideas off of, celebrate wins with, commiserate during tough times, and rally together when it really matters. I’m so grateful for each of you.

One of my favorite aspects of my work is helping clients design custom wall art they can enjoy for years to come.
