Did we mention we take this show on the road? A + J’s gorgeous December elopement was the most joyful, relaxed, romantic time. We giggled all afternoon, and I managed to sneak a ninja turtles reference into their ceremony script. What more could you ask for, really? (That was a hypothetical, but the answer is weather that’s at least 10 degrees warmer than it was that day.)

Two small ways we make your day seamless:
1. Providing guest wifi, so you can stream your ceremony to friends + family with ease.
2. Complimentary printing for vow translations. Let’s say you and your partner speak Spanish at home, but your family are all English speakers. Just provide us with a translation ahead of time and we’ll print little cards for your guests who need them to follow along.

We’re taking a break! But just in case you’re new around here, it’s a “royal we” situation and it just means I (Jusmine) finally am taking an actual vacation. Far away! On a plane! Specifically one I’m on right now bc is the actual best and has free wifi.

Here’s what that means for you:
1. If you send “us” an email, “we” will take a bit longer than usual to reply.

2. If you would like to plan a site visit to see the space in the next couple weeks, that can probably still be arranged. But again, see above 🥲

3. If something is very time sensitive, you can text us on 6172376763 but I can’t actually think of an example of what that might be so ✌️

Happy Valentine’s Day, loves! And a very happy anniversary to our first set of Valentine’s marriers from last year 💌

We’ve done quite a few weddings in the year since, but what I still remember about this one is that their personal vows were stunning. Like, a forgot-I-had-a-job-to-do-and-almost-cried level of thought and eloquence. We really do have the best couples ♥️

When I was concepting Dearly, lots of people told me it could exist elsewhere. We could have a bigger space for a similar investment, with parking all our own! But that was never really a possibility for me — in a lot of ways this business was .market or bust, and looking back at my own wedding photos it’s so clear why.

We got married at our favorite bar, where we spent many (at one point all?) of our Sundays. It wasn’t a place we went to once for this really important day and then never returned, it was part of the fabric of our lives. We don’t live in that neighborhood anymore. In fact, we couldn’t live father away from it ( miss you love you), so when I look back at our wedding photos they’re all the more special because they’re of a time ✨ and of a place ✨ so meaningful to us.

I hope Dearly Studio can give some of that same feeling to you. Whether you’re Somerville locals, or Rebel Rebel regulars. Maybe you walk your dog to Buenas for empawnadas (PSA - you should all do that). Or maybe Dearly is your first foray into Union Square, in which case I hope you’ll come back soon.

Blah blah blah, anyway the point of this post is actually just to say that everyone gets an email back tonight and no one gets an email back tomorrow while I go eat very good food with my very favorite person. Chat soon ♥️

Get married real quick and then celebrate real big — which in this case was recreating their first date, where they drank “a whole lot of tequila.” If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a million times — it’s your day, your way!
