Happy Valentine’s Day, loves! And a very happy anniversary to our first set of Valentine’s marriers from last year 💌

We’ve done quite a few weddings in the year since, but what I still remember about this one is that their personal vows were stunning. Like, a forgot-I-had-a-job-to-do-and-almost-cried level of thought and eloquence. We really do have the best couples ♥️

When I was concepting Dearly, lots of people told me it could exist elsewhere. We could have a bigger space for a similar investment, with parking all our own! But that was never really a possibility for me — in a lot of ways this business was .market or bust, and looking back at my own wedding photos it’s so clear why.

We got married at our favorite bar, where we spent many (at one point all?) of our Sundays. It wasn’t a place we went to once for this really important day and then never returned, it was part of the fabric of our lives. We don’t live in that neighborhood anymore. In fact, we couldn’t live father away from it ( miss you love you), so when I look back at our wedding photos they’re all the more special because they’re of a time ✨ and of a place ✨ so meaningful to us.

I hope Dearly Studio can give some of that same feeling to you. Whether you’re Somerville locals, or Rebel Rebel regulars. Maybe you walk your dog to Buenas for empawnadas (PSA - you should all do that). Or maybe Dearly is your first foray into Union Square, in which case I hope you’ll come back soon.

Blah blah blah, anyway the point of this post is actually just to say that everyone gets an email back tonight and no one gets an email back tomorrow while I go eat very good food with my very favorite person. Chat soon ♥️

Andi + Crystal’s ceremony included a rendition of La Vie En Rose that makes me tear up every time I think about it — which it seems will be weekly until the end of time.

These two met many moons ago at a trivia night at Aeronaut, have been beloved .market regulars for years, and held their reception at the newly opened — which is to say their wedding was a Union Square love fest! Our faves.

Happy almost one month-iversary to two absolute legends! ❤️‍🔥

We’re just TWO WEEKS from Queerly Beloved at ! Part Vegas style wedding extravaganza (literally we’re marrying 10ish couples that day) and part disco dance party — you’re gonna want to BE THERE!
