Comic Book Happy Hour presents: The Mirage of Memory

A lone streetlight flickers. The smell of old paper and ink swirls through the air. You reach for your comic, but your hands are green, three fingers curled around a slice of pizza that wasn’t there before. You look up. Mark and Chef are talking about The Last Ronin, voices layered over the sound of distant sirens. Someone swears that Mutanimals are due for a comeback. Another argues that IDW’s City at War was the real ending all along.

Somewhere between a barstool and the sewers, between 1984 and forever, the conversation keeps flowing. No ooze required.

Which of the four Ninja Turtles would be the best host for SNL? Let's break this down:

Leonardo brings leadership and focus. But would his straight-edge personality land those tricky opening monologue jokes?

Michelangelo seems like the obvious choice—he's funny, loves to party, and could totally nail a pizza-themed skit. But does he have the discipline for live TV?

Donatello has the brains to create some high-tech, innovative sketches. Imagine the props and gadgets he’d whip up! But is he too cerebral for the classic SNL humor?

Raphael is fiery and unpredictable. He'd definitely bring some edge to the show, but would he play nice with the writers?

Each has their strengths, but I honestly can’t decide. Maybe a four-host special is the way to go?
