What an Amazing day it was yesterday! We got to present a complete view of Vine to Glass in our 2 Hour class which we like to call “What’s in your glass”! 🍷🧐

This has been in the works for a while and couldn’t be more appreciative of this wonderful team 🙏

Even though the vines are currently dormant, bud break should be around the corner.

This is something we don’t see very often in California wine making…

A friend sent this Bottle of Cabernet Franc from Lodi, New York and it’s Unoaked! 🍇

In other word it only sees stainless steel and it is a very light bodied red wine. 🍷

On the nose typical Cab Franc aromas of strawberry jam mixed with bay leaf.

On the palate raspberry notes but the body is light.

Reminds me of a Beaujolais Nouveau.

If you’re looking for a light, fun Red wine this one goes with pretty much any dish!

This is what a 140 year old Zinfandel Vine looks like ( photo taken on Dry Creek Rd a week ago). 🌱

You have probably heard of “Old Vine Zin” and you see it written on labels 🍇

You have to admire vineyard owners that prefer Quality over Quantity because as vines get older they produce less fruit but what they do produce is incredible!
