Capturing the beauty and grandeur of a cathedral wedding ceremony is a privilege, especially in the stunning St. Edward’s Church in Palm Beach.

From the moment Emily stepped out of the Ben and into a vintage Rolls Royce with her parents you could feel the anticipation building. The smile radiating from JJ as she walked gracefully down the aisle, her long cathedral veil flowing behind her. The joy that erupted as they exited the church as husband and wife was simply timeless.

Whenever possible, I love to ride to the church with couples; those fleeting moments before and after the ceremony are some of the most beautiful to photograph. Each glance, each smile, tells a story that will last a lifetime.

One of the most magical parts of photographing a wedding day is watching how the light shapes the emotions and the story as it unfolds. Marcelle and Brian’s day at was a perfect example of how light transforms spaces:

A rainbow appeared just outside Marcelle’s prep suite, as if the universe itself was sending its blessings.

Soft, golden afternoon light embraced their portraits, casting a romantic glow that felt timeless.

As evening fell, Vizcaya transformed—its iconic mound illuminated under the night sky, creating a dreamy, cinematic backdrop.

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Balbis!

Sofia & Mark chose to keep the magic alive with no first look, meeting for the first time on their wedding day as Sofia walked down the aisle. It was such a meaningful moment for them and as their photographer, I was honored to capture it all. Every couple’s journey is unique, and I fully support whatever traditions—or new ideas—they choose to celebrate their day.

That said, I may have gently encouraged these two to chase the most spectacular Boca sunset after their ceremony last Saturday at the Royal Palm Yacht Club. The skies were breathtaking, and we had the sweetest few moments with them before the party kicked into full swing. ✨

And speaking of traditions, these two also started a new one of their own: sharing a private last dance in their empty ballroom, soaking in all the love and joy of the day before heading out to a fun sparkler send-off. Congratulations to Sofia & Mark—a perfect blend of timeless traditions and new beginnings!
