I’m all about sharing the flavors that feel like home. If you love that good ol’ Southern soul, you know exactly what i’m talking about— when I speak about hog jowl or fatback (fatback not pictured)! Where I’m from, this hog jowl is a staple, cooked with almost every meal and we call it “side meat” lol I guess it just brings everything together, sometimes it’s cooked with just rice and a little hot sauce! And New years it’s made with hoppin john and Collard greens!
