I had the honor of hosting my very first pop-up soul food buffet, (The Velvet Plate Experience) it was awesome also filled with some Amazing and kind individuals!! From the laughter in the room to the warm smiles on folks’ faces, it truly reminded me why I do what I do.Seeing people come together over food that was made from the heart — food that speaks to comfort, culture, and love , was something I’ll never forget.

There’s a special kind of joy in serving others when you have a genuine heart to serve. And I’m so grateful to have had the chance to share that joy with every guest who walked through the doors. And look forward to many more to come!! To everyone who showed up and showed kindness — thank you. And a very special thank you to Dan Lyles and Sopheap Long for recommending Netty G’s Cuisine. Bella Fupa thank you so much for the amazing gifts for the ladies and your kindness!!
You alls support means more than you know, and I don’t take it lightly. Khendra Ford thank you so much for Balloon Garland and set up!!! Such a greatt job!!!
