Memphis Underground is a fun, high-energy, 7-piece, Classic Vinyl Dance Band. We play the songs people know and love from Contemporary to Funk & Blues

to Classic Rock and Memphis Soul. Good times with great music!
“Memphis Underground” is comprised of experienced and professional musicians from across northern Indiana and southern Michigan. We are a versatile band that plays events & clubs in the Indiana/ Illinois/ Michigan area. This band knows how to have a good time and it shows on stage. We play a mixed groove of Memphis Soul, Motown, Blues, Rock, and Funk to current dance music. The combination of soulful and gritty vocals with the passionate guitar and rocking saxophone makes for a night of music to remember. Perfect for Celebrations, Community Events, Festivals, Tent Parties, Weddings, etc. This band will bring the crowd to its feet! A wide musical range and customizable playlists make us perfect for events that have a wide demographic in attendance.

5 Instruments include Sax, Keys, and a powerful backline. Both Female and male lead vocalists round out the from line. No matter what your celebration is, Corporate or Community Events, Festivals, Tent Parties, Weddings, etc., this band will bring the crowd to its feet and if there is a dance floor, you can count on dancers from the first song to the last song. Performance package options can include either a Two Set or Three Set Show. Other options include a DJ between sets. We can even cover dinner/ cocktail hour music with a soloist if needed.

Wow, what a great night at SB Public South Bend Public House! Thanks to all our MU friends and the SBPH staff for an awesome night. This felt like a great match for MU and we are looking for to next time with their amazing outdoor area opened up.

Today marks 10 years of playing music side by side with my sweet wife Shawn & Memphis Underground. Since the day we met we were involved in music together, and we wanted to form our own band a band that brought a special type of Classic Vinyl, and good vibes, to our community. Less about us, more about the music and audience smiles. Thanks to everyone that comes listen and dance (you are what makes it all worthwhile), and all the venues that host live music, and all the outstanding musicians we have had the honor of performing with! Yes!! Memphis Underground at SB Public House located at the Indiana Dinosaur Museum, on Sat, 3/29 from 6:00-9. Great food and drink. New songs from MU on deck. Visit the Dinos then come for dinner and music!
I stopped in yesterday and heard J&J Acoustic with our friends Jamie Warren & Jeff Spicher.
