I have a big surprise for you. Thanks to the Northwest Carriage Museum The PNW Unicorns are coming to Raymond, WA on July 21st.
They will be here at High Noon and Trotting around until 4:00. Gather up the family and come on down to the Riverfront Park for a fun afternoon out.
I think this event will make a Unicorn believer out of you. Enjoy a great family community event. Photos with “LIVE” Unicorns, Frisbee Golf, other activities for Kids, Food, Drinks and Goodies.
So, mark your calendars for July 21, 2024 (12:00-4:00) for some Midsummer Magic hosted by the Northwest Carriage Museum at the Riverfront Park located at 314 Alder St in Raymond, WA.

A little late getting this photo. It was full at 4:16 am and these were taken at 6:00 pm. This full moon is called the "Full Beaver Moon" according to the Old Farmer's Almanac. The moon is 14 days old and 99% illuminated.

Restaurant Review: The restaurant in this review is the Ship Out Fish & Chips in Astoria, OR. Locating the restaurant was pretty easy. Nice bright blue building with a large banner on the front or maybe the back not too sure! There was no sign directing customers to go the the back which would be the front of the blue building to order. Honestly for such a small menu I would think the food would have been much better. Staff was pretty nice for having to work on a holiday! HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY TO ALL THE VETS!!!! I ordered the Combo which was a piece of Halibut, piece Cod, Scallops, a Shrimp, a Strip Calamari, an Oyster and Fries. I was allowed to substitute the Scallops (which I know I don't like) for an extra Shrimp. After getting the request to review this restaurant I was extremely disappointed. Maybe it was an off day! I will give the Halibut & Cod 5 out of 10; the Shrimp 4 out of 10 (too much batter hiding 1 Shrimp). The Halibut, Cod and Shrimp all tasted the same. Calamari 3 out of 10 (didn't come close to the Calamari I've had overseas); and the Oyster a 5 out of 10. Batter was a little soggy but the Oyster's taste did come through once I got through all the batter. Now the Fries were delicious!!! 9 out of 10 - not sure what they had on them, but they were goooooood! My partner in crime in this review got the Clam Chowder. She rated it at 7 out of 10. I would have to say I think it was $13 for a bowl was a little high. My combo was $26 and I didn't think it was worth it. I didn't see beer on their menu which I would normally give a deduction for, but I didn't ask either so no score on refreshments. On their page they put the price range at $$ I would increase it to $$$. The seating area was really cool. It is behind the blue building that you see in the photo. It was like a huge green house. By looking through the glass doors I though we were going to freeze, but it was very comfortable. Inside the seating "Green House" area it was very clean. Tables were clean 10 out of 10 and were very sturdy. The decorations/shop was really unique 10 out of 10. I tried to get snapshots from different angles to give you a perspective.
Overall I would say the Ship Out Fish & Chips rated an average 5 out of 10. I doubt I will be returning. Hey, if you don't try different placed you'll never know how they are. Just because someone says they didn't really care for a place doesn't mean you will have the same experience. So, give it a try or if you have given it a try comment on your experience.

Here is a fun short video. Plan to make more RC videos. Just connected my GoPro to a iSteady Pro 3 (Gimbal) then to one of my Insta360 poles so I can reach out over the RC course and get some good video. 3D printing a mount for my phone to attach to the pole so I can see what I'm recording. Of course I will need a lot of practice. We are also going to try 3D print a mount for the GoPro to put inside the RC car to look out the windshield.
