Today is the last day of black history month. Although challenges have arisen, I still managed to complete and accomplished my goals for this month.

I started with a my own seed, No investors, very few funds. Just grit and hustle!

Nurture your business like it's your baby and it will grow footsteps... I am living proof !!

The guest admired my food to the point that some people told me that they had 3rd's of everything 😋(unapologetically 😅)

The man in the orange owns MET construction, he traveled from Indpls to attend. He also said that he could eat the whole pan of meatballs and loved the fact that they didn't contain pork in them !!

I always take into account the food allergies of others by accommodating and using high-quality healthy ingredients 🎀

Note: when that TIP jar gets to tipping you have a room full of happy satisfied guests, thanks again ✨ 💲

Chef Monnese Plummer of Fancy Delights spoke about what she is doing in the community. She does Full-service catering. She is a SERV Safe trainer. In a very short period of time I have been asked to build a curriculum, create menus and lesson plans.📚👩🏽‍🏫
It is a lot but God has been preparing me for quite sometime now!

I was asked a year ago to teach ServSafe classes
and now the opportunity has come !!

I have accepted the position as a Faculty Adjunct
with Ivy Tech Community College

As an alumna, I'm honored to teach and take on this role and work with a program that helped me ❤️
I am starting to play a lot more roles in this community, being a chef is just one of them 🙌🏾

We made a lot of great connections, also had food samples for the guest to enjoy !

Everyone wanted to Meet The CHEF,"!! As there were a lot of familiar faces here

📍I got a chance to rub shoulders with our very own news anchor of WSBT-TV John Paul
📍It's always great seeing Cherri Peate from the Elkhart chamber
📍Dr. Virginia Calvin has been a pillar in the community for so long !! She loved my lavender lemonade/food. We always talk to one another!
📍 Got a chance to catch up with Sarah Taylor, the first black director Southold Dance Hall
📍A special thanks to Dr. Marvin Curtis on another awesome business endeavor
📍 It was nice seeing community leader Tina Patton, she enjoyed our food and services as well
📍 S/O to Ms. Jovanna for helping assist with this event.
