Our Story
Top Hat Entertainment began in 1996 when Damon Brink, Scott LeCours and Daren Cassani left the DJ companies where they had been working to join forces in the entertainment world. The first hires were Michael Moshovetis, Rob Jones, Phil Wills and Mike Detch. The mission was to create a company that was responsive to the needs of the client whether it meant choosing appropriate music for a Middle School dance or tailoring the flow of a wedding to fit the bride and groom’s expectations. We rented an office space in South Burlington to provide a location for meeting with clients and event planners so that we could address the details of individual events.
As the company grew, we expanded the services we could offer our clients. An inflatable 75-foot Obstacle Course, a Velcro Wall, Bungee Run, Bounce Castle, Gladiator Joust and Bouncy Boxing were included for Project Graduations, company parties, and group events. Our karaoke system will improve any party…no vocal training required! We now offer Trivia Mania at local restaurants and for many private functions. VOTED #1 Trivia – several years running! In 2012, we added 3 new Photo booths, and our most recent additions were 2 new obstacle courses (2015) and wireless uplights!(2017)
