As two of the owners of this family-run business, we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and share a bit of our story. Our journey began when we fell in love with this very space ourselves, and today, we take great pride in sharing that same joy with you. We’re just half of the team behind New Leaf Farm, but today we’re excited to focus on how we got here and what this place means to us.

We fell in love with this venue long before we had the opportunity to purchase it. The moment we walked in, we could feel the positive energy in the space—it was undeniable. So much so that we chose to get married here ourselves!

Today, we’re honored to carry on the legacy of this incredible place. As a family-owned and operated business, we understand just how important your wedding day is, because we’ve been in your shoes. That’s why our top priority is making the entire experience fun, easy, and completely stress-free for you.

From including wedding planning services with Lovely Weddings and Events to taking care of the setup and linens, to our perfectly curated timelines and vendor recommendations, we’ve thought of everything to ensure your day goes off without a hitch. After weeks of planning, yesterday I had the privilege of seeing our Young Entrepreneur Fair come to life. I couldn't be more proud of each participant who dedicated themselves to building their businesses from scratch, creating a business plan, analyzing their cost and profit margins, learning about marketing, identifying their target markets, and preparing their goods to be sold. This wasn’t an easy task, and their hard work and determination was evident in every business. I'm immensely proud of each of them and their achievements.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved including:

The Evergreen PTA for collecting basket raffles and tirelessly marking to the public

Our judges Michelle Cadden (The Epicurean Delight Catering Co.), Danny Boote (FNCB Bank), Alex Molfetas (Center City Print, and Chrystal L Ozovek (Chrystal Photography) for taking time out of their week to review all of the business plans, and giving up their Saturday to review and support this event

Our generous sponsors for their donations and support including those who sponsored prizes, sent baskets, donated items, or provided financial assistance to participants.

Our teams at New Leaf Farm, Briggs & Co., and Lovely Weddings and Events for all of their help with set up, support for the kids, and keeping the event flowing smoothly.

All of the customers from the community who spent time with us today, and the unwavering support systems behind our young entrepreneurs. We couldn’t have done this without each of you and we can’t wait for the next one!

Business ideas include: jewelry, photography, babysitting, tutoring, seed starting/small potted plants, bakery, apparel, lawn care, art, dog walking, and so much more!
