Participation is at one’s own risk and the SHFC is not liable for any injury or illness resulting from participation in said event. A cooperative playgroup where caregivers meet and young children play. Come join us for fun, socialization, crafts, snack and story time. The SHFC is a non-profit organization that is directed by the Board of Directors (volunteers) and the center’s Director. The SHFC

is not affiliated with any religious group and is welcome to all. The SHFC does not discriminate on basis of color, race, national origin, religion, s*x, disability, s*xual orientation, political beliefs, or marital, family or economic status. Donations, grants and fundraising efforts support 100% of annual budget.

‼Attention, community members! We have an important announcement regarding the playground at Buttery Brook Park. Starting on Wednesday, October 30th, the playground will be temporarily closed for renovations and upgrades. We anticipate the closure to last until Spring 2025, although the exact reopening date will be communicated at a later time.

While we understand this may be disappointing news for families and children who frequent the playground, we encourage you to explore the other wonderful playgrounds available in town during this period.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work diligently to enhance the Buttery Brook Park playground. We assure you that the renovations and upgrades will result in an improved and more enjoyable play space for everyone in the community.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in making our community's playgrounds a vibrant and welcoming place for all.
