It is just 3 mile from down town South Haven nestled in Blueberry Country. We are Connie & Shane Clipfell, owners of the BIG RED Barn, my husband and I have turned our barn that sits mostly empty in the summer months into an Event Venue. Shane is the Head Women's Basketball Coach at WMU and I am their biggest fan. My work history is in Project Management and Event/Party Coordination so when I saw

this BIG empty space, I said WOW just think of the "Projects/Parties" could we host in here! Come check out the Big Red Barn in South Haven Michigan...we are planting flowers and getting Olde Rusty for the summer!

2019 was a busy year from wedding expos, anniversary celebrations, weddings and we even hosted a Haunted Barn for Halloween. Cannot wait to see how to 2020 unfolds!

If you were anywhere near South;haven you have to come see the lighthouse and the waves in the channel...never have I seen the water level this high before. OMG I just witnessed with my own eyes a wave crash over the pier head and the spray was higher than the lighthouse itself. It is actually higher than the channel as it comes down the river. If you look close that someone’s kayak floating in the channel.

You have to watch this, it went from windsurfing to rockclimbing and then car surfing... Just another day at South Beach!

The "Off Season" is all tucked away for the winter. Now Shane can focus on the WMU season!

This fall we are working on landscaping the property, we have a beautiful pond that will be edged with river rock, trees, and flower beds and in the next few weeks we will start work on the water fall feature. Inside the barn we are hammering out the final details for the plans for a full kitchen with mobile bar, counter space for caterers, a loft for the DJ and a large bathroom for our guest!
