We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and detailed oriented person to join our team!
Responsibilities as Studio Assistant include:
-Greet customers with a warm welcome
-Help customers pick their pottery to paint
-Encourage and guide them during the painting process, offer them advice and inspiration to achieve their creative vision
-Carefully handle finished pottery pieces
-Operate POS system and check customers orders out
-Direct birthday parties and private events
-Restock supplies and keep studio clean
-Clean brushes, bowls and trays
-Answer phone and set reservations
-Setting and clearing tables
-Professionalism in presentation and strong communication skills
-Hard working with an attention for detail
-Clear glazing, loading and unloading kiln and assembling orders.
Candidate requirements:
16+ years old with reliable transportation.
Painting skills a plus but not required.
Must be comfortable working with kids and adults. Must be available to work weekday evening and Saturdays as needed. Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs and work shift while standing and walking.
