Today is the day we've all been waiting for. Makaya Caters MakayaCaters is giving back to the community that care for us since 2016. Our food truck will be parked in Rose Park 1000 North Victoria Way from 5pm until we run out of food. Simply come to the truck tell us how many meals you want and we'll hand them out. THURSDAY JUNE 20th 2024 the food truck will be parked at 1000 North 950 West in Salt Lake City Rose Park neighborhood from 5pm until we run out of food. We're hoping to give away 500 meals.
Simply walk to to the food truck and tell us how many plates you would like. The meals will be free, however, if you'd like to tip the staff they would appreciate the gesture. Again, meals will be free and tipping is not required but if you would like to tip the staff they would appreciate it.

All Star weekend was a disaster for us. After posting the story, many of you have asked how you can help us come back from it and recover the lost income.
We are planning on bringing the food truck to our home, Rose Park is home, at 1170 West 1000 North in of Unity Baptist Church next Thursday thru Saturday (03/16-03/18 ) from 4-8pm. Did y'all see this? Makaya Caters' food truck has been ranked as top two food trucks in Salt Lake City. I am So proud of this. It took a lot of hard work and sacrifice to get to this point. We're working to bring the truck out on a more consistent basis starting April. Our summer is looking pretty good!

Hello SLC! We're excited to announce that we, now, have a permanent day where we can serve our customers the delicious Haitian food that we all love. In in effort to prevent food waste we are only taking pre-orders.
