On this Thanksgiving Day, as we gather with loved ones, share meals, and give thanks for the blessings in our lives, let us pause to honor and remember those who might not have the chance to be home today.
To our first responders—firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics—and all those who are always ready to answer the call, thank you. While we sit around the table in warmth and comfort, many of you are out in the cold, working tirelessly to protect and serve. Your dedication to keeping our communities safe, often at the expense of your own time with family, is a sacrifice that does not go unnoticed.
To the brave members of our military—those serving near and far—our gratitude for you knows no bounds. Whether stationed abroad, on duty at home, or deployed in places where the comforts of the holidays are far away, you continue to stand watch so that we can enjoy the freedoms we hold dear. Your courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to our nation are gifts we can never fully repay.
To the families of our service members and first responders, thank you for your strength and sacrifice. You, too, bear the weight of their service, often celebrating holidays without their presence, yet supporting them with love and understanding.
Today, let us all take a moment to reflect on the incredible sacrifices made by these heroes—those who run toward danger so we can feel safe, those who stand guard so we can sleep in peace, and those who answer the call so we can celebrate in joy.
To every first responder and service member: we see you, we honor you, and we are endlessly thankful for you. Your courage and dedication embody the very spirit of service, and we are forever in your debt.
Happy Thanksgiving, and may you find moments of peace and connection, wherever you are today. We hold you in our hearts, today and always.
