Merry Christmas everyone, from our LG family to yours!! Such a big shoutout to my amazing crew who worked so hard this week (and every week) to make this holiday happen! A special thanks to my Sunday crew who came in and worked all day to make 146 stuffed breads (smashed last year’s record of 100!!) … total pans of food made this year was 759!!!! That’s 147 more than last year! Thank you to all of our customers who ordered from us and support us every day! We couldn’t do it without you! I hope everyone enjoys this day with friends and family, eats delicious food and gets some much needed rest!! Southbury will be closed tomorrow (Dec 26th) and reopen Friday for normal business hours! Merry Christmas everyone!!

Public Service announcement…BE KIND. You have NO IDEA what other people are going through or what their situation is. It takes a lot for me to speak out but this was one that I just cannot shake.
We have been posting for the last 2 weeks that our catering cutoff was last night at 7pm. At some point you need to accept you are at your limit, and we have met that point. After staying here until midnight for the third time this week (and going on 3 straight weeks of catering sh*tshow since Thanksgiving) and typing in every single order that was placed, we are at capacity. I made the decision we cannot take anymore on. It’s not just about “one platter”. It’s the product that needs to be ordered, the organization of everything, the countless hours of production to make this holiday happen. You literally have no idea how much goes into it. Sometimes you just need to say no.

I have already told 4 people we are booked today and three of them were very nice and understood. The 4th was not. After calling back to yell at my employee who answered the next time, I took over the call. I politely told her our books were full. I was screamed at and told
“F* OFF YOU FU #*%NG BI^ .
All over a Charcuterie.
I’m sorry that we are not able to provide you our services (ever again), but I’m more sorry to know that is how some people treat other humans. Be kind. There are so many worse things in life that getting told No.
With that said, again, our catering books are full through Dec 28th. We are happy to orders for New Year’s Eve, but for Christmas we are booked. Thank you for all your continued support from all of our friends, family and customers that support us every day. 💕 ~Christy

Don’t forget to place your Christmas catering orders by this Wednesday, Dec 18th for pickup on Christmas Eve.
Our Catering books for next week are also FULL for a few of the days so spots are very limited!! Please call the store tomorrow to request any last minute holiday catering for next week (Dec 16th-21st).
Last but not least… New Year’s Eve!! Our regular catering menu will be available for New Year’s. Orders are due by Friday, Dec 27th for cold pickup on Dec 31st.

Sorry for the delay!! Here is our Holiday 2024 Catering Menu with our Brunch options added on! Orders are available for cold pickup on Dec 24th from 10am-2pm (heating instructions provided on each package).

Feeling truly blessed and grateful today to be part of this community and to have the most amazing team of people working beside me everyday. No one can ever truly understand how intense Thanksgiving is for us. It’s more than a day, or a week. It’s a month of planning, organizing, typing, sorting, ordering, adjusting, receiving and fighting fires when things don’t show up or last minute changes happen.

This year was truly a feat. We crushed last years totals with a whopping 838 items this year!! That included:
300 lbs of Turkey Breast
200 lbs of Mashed Potatoes
80 lbs of Sweet Mashed Potatoes
120 lbs of Mac & Cheese
200lbs of Stuffing
100 Stuffed Breads
3120 ounces (about 25 gallons) of Turkey Gravy
Plus Green Beans & Brussels Sprouts for days!!
We also provided 161 meals to the Southbury Food Bank, which were distributed to our neighbors on Wednesday morning. It was one crazy week! Thank you to everyone who made it happen! We love being part of this town! Next stop…Christmas!!
