We had an incredible time back in Carthage on our History Cruise yesterday! 🚋✨ We filled the trolley to the brim—yes, I mean FULL—for an afternoon immersed in the rich history of Carthage.

We kicked off our adventure with a delightful brew from Buggy Town Coffee☕️ before heading to Old Scotch Graveyard, one of Moore County's oldest resting places. After learning about the history and paying our respects to our founders, we moved on to the beautifulTyson Sinclair, which has been a local treasure since the 1800s. 🏛️

After exploring its fascinating history—and even doing a little ghost hunting 👻—we enjoyed shopping with local vendors and sipping a glass or two of wine at Watering Can Wines, all nestled in this historic building. 🍷🛍️

On a Sandhills Trolley History Cruise, you truly step back in time from the moment you board our vintage-style trolley with a host dressed in era attire. It’s a history experience like no other in our area!

🌟✨ When I say that the Sandhills Trolley can pull off ANY theme, I truly mean it—even the most unconventional ones that leave us wondering how we did it! 😲🎉 Just yesterday, we hosted a Breakfast at Tiffany’s Murder Mystery for a charter group. 💎👗

After a quick costume change from STC historian to glamorous Tiffany's attire, Lexi wowed our guests with a sparkling diamond-themed cruise! 🚎💖 While guests tried to uncover “who dunnit” on board, we made stops at The Sly Fox for a delicious tapas dinner 🍽️, followed by a sweet treat at Nothing Bundt Cakes 🍰, and wrapped up the evening with coffee at our local Starbucks ☕️.

As a Sandhills Trolley host, she is so much more than that, with her love for the history of our area. Lexi has not only elevated the Sandhills Trolley History Tours but also the history of our county with her dedication to preservation and her extensive knowledge of Moore County's rich past.

Dressed in period attire, she has welcomed guests from across the country and around the world, sharing captivating stories and insights that bring our local history to life. Her dedication has significantly benefited numerous historical sites and local businesses, making her an invaluable asset to our community.
