Something came over me yesterday to make an arrangement for tonight’s Southern Pines Rotary Social. I asked my mother-in-law, Cathy, to help me put together a raffle for the arrangement. Tonight with the help of Southern Pines Rotary we were able to raise $400 for the Southern Pines Veterans Parade. So much gratitude for so many reasons 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻.

This is what happens when you wait too long to send your seed pods to the laboratory. Orchid seed is so minute that one must send it to the lab as it requires mitochondrial fungi to germinate. How this process happens in nature is amazing as the seed has to land in the right place at the right time.

Fact: The Orchids flower symmetry is similar to human faces...it has been said the possibility of why some people have such a fondness for orchids is due to the bilateral symmetry of the orchids flower, such as a human face, if you draw a line down the middle- the flower will be exactly the same on each side.
