**Warning Long story of my weekend**
If you missed it you missed out π«£
First honor and Glory to the man above GOD for always seeing me thru!
Thank you to my loyals you knw who you are! i appreciate seeing you! your genuine greeting and support is everything to me. Thank you to my crew this year tammy, lisa, lily, sarah, dassah, katarah, My mom, my boys and my husband and anyone that helped us load and unload. Love you guys β€οΈ
The pasefika 2024 was amazing! This was My fav year out of all 4 years doing this festival! allthough there weren't big head liners that were performing it felt like it to me lol back in the days good old family oriented fun! Big shout out to Big UCE Radio for another great event and giving our small poly owned businesses an opportunity to shine and support our families! y'all always take care of your vendors! security top of the lineπ.
I got to try other food vendors and their food was so good! shout out to riskys bbq, thank you and your amazing crew for feeding me and my tent. I had their pulled pork sandwich with fried taro chips π€€, pork belly n brisket was π£ even the dole ice cream π© and let's not forget their malasadas π it was made from scratch yall ππ½ββοΈ i enjoyed my view seeing the whole get down with their team next door! don't get me wrong my team was smooth as butter too! I just love seeing the hard work and dedication that goes in the food we serve while i was on my griddle doing my thang!
The next tent on my other side which was tusi tent? just met one of the cooks this year they were selling island food, and the cook back there was cool and kinda looking out for me yelling to me in samoan "good job cooking" (i'm assuming cuz im plastic) lmao told me to get a tent to block the sun from me. I looked over n thanked him and nodded it's ok! He then later on came over asked me for some gas he could buy i said go ahead no worries! i went back over and asked if he had change and gave me what he had!
My point of it all was I love being in an environment where no one feels intimidated or the feeling of competition between the vendors! just basically working together! the vendors i was by, helped one another, fed each other, and that was dope to me!
Dmarie Niuamoa had her snack shack and and baby her smoked meat bowls was killah. Didn't get to try her chilli but i bet it was good.
I heard another vendor there was selling faausi ice cream i didn't get to try!
Sao Sweets was serving lemonade! let me tell you i loved it, sometimes some lemonade stands be making their lemonade either way too sweet or too watery and i loved my pineapple, orange li hi mui lemonade!
With that being said, i can't express my gratitude of how thankful i am to see familiar faces either it be my friends, regulars, church family, family, and community just your support overwhelms my heart! (in my dads fav words) FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! THANK YOUβ€οΈ
