When clients want to choose decor that matches the aesthetic of the venue we get so giddy.
We LOVE when an aesthetic can flow across the entire space without odd spaces or too intense of changes.
This couple chose linen that matched the natural textures and colors of the venue and picked chairs that allowed for a continous visulation of the space.

Luckily, getting married on the shore of Lake Tahoe allows for play within a stunning color palette that matches almost all aesthetic and visions and can create very custom and gorgeous looks.

DID YOU KNOW?!?

Makenzie, our Social Media and Decor Specialist, tied the knot with her college sweetheart, Sam, on October 7th, 2023. They got married in a friend’s backyard in Nevada City, CA where the groom was raised!

The day was inspired by good times with great people and all the couple wanted was a day filled with family, friends, and a good drink.

Makenzie is all about the details and made sure to include special moments throughout the day. Her older brother officiated the wedding. A family heirloom, an old vintage dressing table, acted as the seating chart. Her father built the bar and cross for the wedding ceremony. And her brother built corn hole boards to use as the guestbook during cocktail hour. She even put together the floral with her bridesmaids and friends the night before!

Makenzie also thrifted 100 different vintage cups so each guest could pick and choose one that represented them - and would be used throughout the night. These glasses were used for cocktails, wine, and beer and were definitely a hit.

A family tree served as a memorial for those who couldn’t make it and those family members who have been married - this was extremely special since the wedding date is Makenzie’s grandmothers birthday who passed earlier that same year. The brides mother also cut the brides hair before the dancing and reception dress change as an homage to the same grandmother who was a hairstylist.

Makenzie says “Go with your gut. Make decisions based upon you and your person. If that means espresso martinis and salted caramel cotton candy for dessert - do it!” And that’s exactly what they did.

Ryan is a four time Olympic Gold Medalist in Swimming and his new wife, Bridget is an editorial expert for Nike - so we knew this wedding was going to be a party!

A common question we get is ""What goes at each place setting?"" It really depends on the style of food service!

Plates will require only napkins, utensils, and drinkware (and a charger if you wish) at the tables. Buffet style food service can have either plates or no plates on the table.

The fork and knife amounts also depend on the number of courses being served - keep in mind you utilize utensils from the outside in and forks go on the left with knives on the right!
