Thanks everyone for all of the wonderful birthday messages. Warms the heart and puts a solid smile on the face ! I welcome all of the new horizons that lead to unforgettable adventures, even when you take a wrong turn, that's where the magic begins. Excited for what this next hot lap around the sun brings to this life. Should count our blessings we aren't living in a war zone, with so many folks in need. We all should appreciate one another no matter what with respect, kindness and empathy. Things are afoot at MRC.

In 2007 I had given up on being in a band. Enevitabley somebody would be drinking or drugging too much, or just being unreliable, and it would just fall apart. All that work, down the drain. I won tickets to a Heart concert and went there with my camera, not really planning on taking any pictures, but then Nancy Wilson happened. She started moving all round the stage playing her guitar, and it was magical. This was the last of 8 shots I ran up front and took. Surprisingly they turned out pretty good, so I put a montage of them together that still hangs in The Musician Rehearsal Center in Reno on loan from the McCabe collection of semi-fine art. I'm back playing in a band. With age comes wisdom and a little more maturity, and hangovers have been replaced with doctor appointments.

As a public service announcement I thought I would post the lyrics to Auld Lang Syne, because as you know, nobody remembers more than the first verse. What a pain! It took me over an hour to do this. Most of the time was spent finding just the right photo to put it on, followed by finding the right font and colors so that they could be read. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

On 4/21/23 Journey Tribute band 'Radio JRNY' came to MRC for the day to have videographer Blaine Dahle and his production team record footage of them playing four Journey songs (multiple times each) to put together a promotional video for them. Here are some shots of how it went down. This day of shooting was just the start. Post production takes up a lot of time.
