Moenika and Michael met when he moved into her apartment complex in Atlanta and they met on a mutual friends group outing. He walked her to the door at the end of the evening…but neglected to get her number. They didn’t see each other again for a month and then went out on a date. The rest is history! They married in Tahoe on Sunday the 25th with a few family members in attendance.

Mark and Jessica met on a dating app. Neither one of them thought they were gong to anyone and in fact were both ready to give it all up. As the last ditch effort, Mark swiped, Jessica responded and the match was made. They married on Sunday the 25th in a beautiful ceremony at the Reno Wilbur May Museum. They had a huge group of family and friends in attendance.

Bianca and Joshua met at a bar and sparks flew. After having a proper date, they knew they were right for each other and gave been together ever since. On Friday, their friends and family braved some inclement weather at Lake Tahoe to see them marry on the beach. It was a fun ceremony with a lot of laughs.

Gordon and Dani have been together for six years and live in the UK. They wanted to do something a little different for their wedding so they brought their entire family over to Lake Tahoe yesterday for a beautiful wedding. We talked a lot about Great Britain and my recent trip to London. Then we had a beautiful ceremony.

April and Dakota met when they were just teenagers. Someone dared him to get her phone number and he did. As a gentleman he walked up and shook her hand. It was love at first sight and they’ve been together ever since. They married on Saturday at a beautiful ceremony at Genoa Golf Club with a large group of family and friends in attendance.

Jose and Maria booked me for a last-minute wedding. Actually, their niece Araceli booked me at her home in Sparks. I can’t believe they pulled off this entire thing in a matter of days because the backyard was decorated to the hilt, including catering. Araceli even had an interpreter on hand for everyone who did not speak English. I provided the ceremony ahead of time so the interpreter could read every line right after I read it. She was amazing. And the whole ceremony was beautiful.

On Saturday, it was a busy day in Reno as it was still Hot August Nights. But David and Leanna brought a huge group of family and friends to Reno to celebrate their wedding at the Atlantis. I wish I had pictures of the entire bridal party because they were gorgeous, all dressed in burgundy—even the guys had burgundy tuxes. it was a fun group.

Eric and Leah have that kind of chemistry that even total strangers look at them and say ‘you two are having a wonderful time together aren’t you?’ It’s been like that since their very first date, and that happens everywhere they go even when they’re traveling the world. So naturally they decided it was time to get married and they traveled all the way across the country to get married right here at beautiful Lake Tahoe. They brought all their friends and family to join them and we had gorgeous weather today for them to do it.

Hailey and Trevor are a super fun couple that wanted to no-frills wedding today at Lake Tahoe. And of course that’s what I delivered! After the wedding, they and their friends were heading off to go paddle boarding. I love her full length crochet dress. Underneath she was wearing her paddle boarding outfit. Remember, it’s your day and you should do whatever you want to make it special just for you!

It was a beautiful morning for a wedding! Morgan and Drew have been together two years and had a beautiful backyard ceremony today with all their friends and family in attendance. It was so cute when everyone blew bubbles at them from bubble guns. I highly recommend bubble guns for your wedding!

Stephanie and Kevin met at work, like so many other people did. She was a manager and they met his orientation. He was immediately smitten. But he thought ‘how am I going to get her attention?’ So he made her a batch of cookies and a sweet note that said ‘I made these myself.’ To this day she still has that note pinned above their bed. They’ve been together since that first date. Since the love story started in Tahoe, they decided to return to the scene of the crime and get married here yesterday. We had a beautiful fun ceremony with family at Sand Harbor. We had a lot of laughs and a few tears before some sunset photos and dinner.

Megan and Kevin flew from Guam to get married at Logan Shoals on July 19. It was supposed to be a small crowd, but ended up having a huge group of family and friends that showed up and even decorated. I don’t have any pictures of decorations because I don’t wanna implicate anyone! They have a beautiful love story! They went to high school together and even had class together, but they barely knew each other. Kevin kept asking Megan on dates and she kept rejecting him. She finally agreed to a date but she didn’t really want to go. She was really dreading that firs date. He really wanted the date to be special, so he cooked her dinner. They now refer to it as the love potion chicken because it was a game changer and it started the whole relationship for them. They are both card carrying Swifties and have a beautiful daughter who was also there all dressed up for the wedding.

Sarah and Tyler wanted an intimate ceremony in the beauty of nature. Together with the awesome photography team, we hiked to a secret spot at Lake Tahoe and made that happen today.

Taylor and Samuel met when they were teenagers. He lived in the UK and she in Carson City. They were just friends, of course. But over the years, their loved blossom and they made many trips to see each other. Eventually, Samuel moved to the United States and proposed. Taylor introduced him to a love of cats and he introduced her to playing guitar. They married yesterday at their home with friends and family. His family flew in from the UK for the event.

From that first date, stargazing and getting ice cream, over three years ago to their wedding on Saturday at the beautiful Gansberg Ranch in Gardnerville, Bethany and Justin have done everything country style. Joe and Christy have no known each other since grade school. Although they both noticed each other, they didn’t date, even through high school. In fact, they didn’t start dating until they reconnected on Facebook earlier this year. It was an instant connection neither could deny. On their second date they were engaged! They said ‘when you know you know.’ They married today at the Renaissance Reno in front of a close group of family and friends. And after today they relocating to Washington.

Tommy and Carleigh met in an ice lab in North Dakota when they were students. She really liked him but he never asked her out. Then he moved to California! They kept in touch. So, he asked if she wanted to see Harry Potter on Broadway. She said yes, but only as a date. Their first actual date was in Nebraska on a frosty Valentine’s Day. It was perfect. They have since traveled the world together and adopted two pups. They married today at Twenty Mile House with a large group of family and friends from all over the country in attendance.

Tom and Wendy started dating a year and a half ago. Their first dates was to a grunge concert. It was the perfect first date for the two of them and they’ve been together ever since. They love spending time together traveling, listening to music and going to restaurants. They decided to elope in Lake Tahoe, film the ceremony, and share it with their family and friends back in Arizona when they got home. I love this picture I snapped Tom helping Wendy put her shoe on before the ceremony. We had beautiful weather and it was a gorgeous ceremony.

Dan and Katherine took a break from their Pickleball tournament to get married today. They are hard-core pickle ball players! They had a large group of family in attendance today and in fact, his elderly father gave her away. It was quite beautiful. We had a wonderful live violin player, Catherine Matovich, and the weather was gorgeous. There is no age limit on finding your true love!!

Nathalie and Matthew met during a self-defense class. She really had a crush on him. Little did she know, he had a crush on her too. Then Covid happened and the classes stopped. But he asked her out. They went for a walk around the marina and decided to go for FroYo. Unfortunately, the yogurt shop was closed. It was an epic first date and they’ve been together ever since. They married yesterday up at Winters Creek up on Mount Rose Highway with their dogs and a large group of family and friends.

Taylor and Ryan had a beautiful ceremony on Saturday at Winter’s Creek, a gorgeous venue on Mount Rose Highway. We had to move inside due to the wind, but it didn’t stop us from having an amazing day.

The wedding was a lot of fun.

It was a bittersweet moment for me, however, because it was the very last wedding I will ever work with my friend KC from as he’s retiring and moving to Spain. He will be sorely missed. Good luck on your future retirement overseas.

Cindy and Dale came to Reno from Redding for an elopement this afternoon. Our original location was overran with joggers so we moved to beautiful Caughlin Ranch. What started with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on the river culminated with kisses at a pond.

Michelle and Frederick went to high school together, but they didn’t know each other even though they had some mutual friends. After high school, they connection on social media. They found out they were both going to a music festival, a complete coincidence. So they decided to start hanging up a little bit to talk about the music festival, and by the time it happened, they decided they were a couple and couldn’t imagine being with anyone else. When it was time to propose, Frederick proposed to Michelle a few years later at the same music festival.

They had a huge wedding today with a huge bridal party and lots of family and friends at Las Cascadas.

When Candice and Omar met, it wasn’t love at first sight. They were both playing hard to get. It took quite a few meetings before they started paying attention to each other and went out on a date. Once a couple, they never separated, even when dating long distance. They married today at South Lake Tahoe with a large group of family and friends and their dog as ring bearer.
