Hi everyone, this is Angela Sist, Michigan Market Manager. I want to remind you to be cautious as scammers are targeting events like ours again. We had someone reach out to a vendor that demanded payment of they were going to lose there spot.

✅ I, Angela Sist, am the ONLY official contact for any Michigan Market Manager Event.

✅ If you're accepted, you will receive a congratulations letter with detailed instructions on how to proceed with payment.

✅ I will ONLY contact you regarding payment through an official PayPal invoice. Not Venmo or Cash App.

❌ Beware of anyone else reaching out claiming to represent the event, especially if they ask for payment via non-secure methods.

If you’re ever in doubt, feel free to reach out directly to me for confirmation at [email protected] Let’s stay safe and protect our creative community! This goes true for ANY event you sign up for. Please practice your due diligence.

Scammers and spammers seem to be on a roll lately! 😡 Please do your research before applying to any events. Over the past couple of days, I’ve had to report and delete 26 fake posts just from my MMM event posts. I’ve also spotted a few more on Grand Rapids Informed and other local pages.

🚨 Reminder: I, Angela Sist, will personally reach out to you regarding any of our events. If you see something that seems off, let me know right away. Stay alert and help keep our community safe from scammers!
