On January 23, the White County Fair Association held their annual board elections.

The following were elected to officer postions:
Mike Wilson, President
Paul Flatt, Vice President
Sara Farris, Secretary

Members are elected to 4 year terms, unless other board members step down allowing availability in other terms.

The TAF would like to extend a huge congratulations to the White County Agricultural Fair for their well-deserved win in the Single A division! 🏆

Over 23,000 attendees and 40+ events over 10 days made for a celebration that truly had something for everyone. From Farmer for a Day with FFA to local businesses stepping up in support, the fair was a shining example of community teamwork. Local partners like the volunteer fire department, churches, the baseball team, Boy Scouts, the YMCA, and construction companies all worked together to make this event a success and help improve the community.

🌟TENNESSEE ASSOCIATION OF FAIRS - 103rd CONVENTION 🌟

Multiple members from the White County Fair Association attended the annual fair convention in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, January 16-January 18, 2025.

During the 2024 fair seasons we celebrated our HOMETOWN HEROES! A fair theme that highlighted people from all fields, but mainly allowed us as a board to celebrate all that entered our gates.

While at the convention we were awarded 3rd place for our table top design, had our beautiful queen compete in the state pageant, and was the recipient of a $300 cash award prize. One of our own, Paul Flatt, was named to the state board to serve a 3 year term.

🏆The highlight of the weekend was being named the 2024 TAF Single A Champion Fair.🏆

Thank you to everyone who attended the fair, sponsored events, donated time, and helped lead us to this point. We could not have done this without our wonderful community!

In addition to pictures we are looking for military uniforms/jackets from the following branches to be displayed in our military booth:
- Navy
- Marine Corps
- Air Force
- Coast Guard

Day 1 of the TN State Fair Convention is in the books! White and Warren Counties teamed up with other counties to host the silent and live auctions. The day was filled with some great auction action, good music, and dancing!

The 2024 will be competing this Friday in the State Fairest of the Fair Pageant.

Help us wish Lexie good luck as she heads to the state fair conference and represents White County!
